This Policy covers personal data, vehicle and document data, KYC/identity information, and all other data shared with us for the purposes of account verification, fraud prevention, Platform operations, and secure service delivery.

We collect information that you provide to us directly, information generated through your use of the Platform, and information collected automatically via your device and interactions.
2.1. Registration & Profile Information
When you sign up or create an account on TaxiSathi, we may collect:
- Full name
- Company name, agency name, or trade name (if applicable)
- Mobile number
- Email address (if provided)
- Operating city, location, or service area
- Password or other login credentials (stored in encrypted form)
- Profile photograph or business logo (if uploaded)
2.2. Business & Professional Details
- GST registration number and GST-related details
- PAN number (where required for compliance or payouts)
- Bank account details or UPI IDs (for receiving payouts or processing commissions)
- Business address and registered office details
2.3. Vehicle & Operational Information
- Vehicle details: make, model, registration number, colour, year, and category
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) or Lease Agreement / Authorization
- Vehicle permit and fitness certificate details
- Insurance policy details (where provided)
- Type and number of vehicles in your fleet
2.4. Driver & Licence Details
- Driver's full name and photograph (if applicable)
- Driver's mobile number
- Driving licence number, copy, and validity details
- Additional government-issued identity or verification documents
2.5. KYC & Identity Verification (Including Aadhaar)
To prevent fraud, verify genuine Users, and comply with applicable regulations, we may request:
- Aadhaar number (full or partial, as per our KYC process) or masked Aadhaar copy / e-Aadhaar

- Detecting, preventing, and investigating fraudulent bookings and fake accounts
- Verifying identity using Aadhaar, driving licences, RC, and other documentation
- Protecting genuine Users from financial fraud and platform misuse
3.4. Payment & Commission Facilitation
- Processing subscription payments, wallet top-ups, and commission-related transactions
- Processing refunds and payouts as per Platform rules and the applicable Refund Policy
3.5. Communication & Notifications
- Sending transactional SMS, WhatsApp messages, email, and in-app notifications
- Communicating important service updates, policy changes, and security alerts
- Responding to your support queries and complaints
3.6. Research, Analytics & Platform Improvement

- Acknowledge that refusal to provide certain required information may limit or prevent your ability to access specific features of the Platform
5. Sharing & Disclosure of Your Information
TaxiSathi respects your privacy. Your data will be shared only as necessary for Platform operations and with appropriate safeguards in place.
5.1. With Other Users of the Platform
To facilitate collaboration and transparency on the marketplace, certain information may be visible to other registered Users, such as your name or business/agency name, contact details you choose to share, profile details, operational area, vehicle category, and ratings/feedback received.
5.2. With Payment & Financial Partners
Where the Platform facilitates commission payments, wallet top-ups, or subscription billing, we may share necessary information with trusted payment gateway and payout partners for processing payments and settlements, KYC or regulatory verification, and processing refunds. These partners are contractually required to follow applicable data security and privacy standards.
5.3. With Technology & Service Providers
We may share information with vetted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, including cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics and fraud detection services, SMS, OTP, WhatsApp, email, and push notification service providers, and customer support tools. - We will never publicly display your full Aadhaar number, complete driving licence number, or full bank account details
- We will never sell your personal data, Aadhaar details, or documents to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own commercial purposes
6. Data Security
TaxiSathi implements reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption and secure transmission of sensitive data where applicable
- Role-based access controls and restricted permissions for internal staff
- Secure servers, cloud infrastructure, and data storage practices
- Regular monitoring for suspicious activity, vulnerabilities, and misuse
- Confidentiality obligations imposed on all personnel handling sensitive data
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, logging out after each session, and notifying us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
